More About Dr. Molly Tucker

Education & Experience

Ever since I was little, I’ve been called an “old soul,” I think because I was deeply curious about others. When I began riding the bus in elementary school, I told my mother resolutely, “I’m going to sit by and get to know someone new every single day.” In the fifth grade, I joined a club called Peer Mediators where kids were trained by clinicians to help fellow students resolve disputes. I knew early that I wanted to be a Clinical Psychologist and now have the pleasure of doing something I truly love as my profession.

I earned my M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Texas and completed my predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, specializing in Advanced Interprofessional Mental Health.

Beyond life as a psychologist, my husband and I are raising our darling son, who brings unfathomable joy to our lives as we reconnect to our inner children and the wonder of being alive. I also enjoy hosting gatherings of friends and family, making art, hiking, spending ample time in nature, reading, and writing.
